It will take a few days to process Tony’s death. Even though I read about it days ago I was still taken back by how well it was done on film. It was pretty emotional seeing everyone at the funeral for a character I’ve been following on screen since I was 16. His daughter saying she wants a cheeseburger was also a hit to the guts. You could really see it on Favreau’s face. Nat’s death didn’t hit as hard knowing that she has a solo film.
Totally in for Thor in Guardians 3. I almost completely lost it with Hemsworth and Pratt interacting at the end.
Rocket telling Thor his panic attack didn’t matter or something along those lines was some major bullshit
Perfect send off for Tony Stark. Captain America using Thor’s hammer and saying Avengers Assemble. 10/10 movie
I really enjoyed it. But I will need to see it again to really judge it better. A lot goes down. I’m not sure about the 3 hour run time. I can think of some stuff that could have easily been cut. Well, 2 scenes in particular stand out to me. The movie did fly by for me, it didn’t feel it’s length, but I’d still cut a little bit. I am not super happy about Black Widow’s fate. Also, the time travel was... weird. So, like, they created new realities with their actions, right? Sure they restore the stones, but with stuff like Loki leaving rather than captured , doesn’t that change things? I don’t see how Cap would be able to actually go back with stuff changed. I don’t know.
