For this unique project, with all that goes into it and all it's supposed to mean... I'd be cool with a Return of the King length film. Just go for it. These movies gotta stop getting so big, but this is a unique enough case to warrant it. Just... As a trade off, can we also get some shorter films? Like, can we get a Doctor Strange or Ant-Man film that's only 90-100 min?
I'm perfectly fine with a 3 hour movie. This movie's an end and a beginning. Take the time to hit on every point you want to make with a cast we might never see together like this again.
Honestly? When I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey this year, I forgot it had an intermission. 'Twas much appreciated. No reason these longer blockbusters can't bring that tradition back.
It's funny how a lot of the people who complain about a 3 hour movie have no problem sitting down and bingeing a season of hour-long Marvel episodes on Netflix. Myself included a lot of the time honestly. But I'm all for it in this case.
The difference is with a netflix show you can pause and go to the bathroom, check your phone, etc. I don't mind long movies but there's been a few times I've suffered a full bladder during a movies climax and it's like ptsd now, I see a long runtime and start having terrible flashbacks
When Infinity War finished I would have happily had an intermission and gone back in for another three hours.
Can guarentee you plenty of theaters will be offering this next year with a double feature of this and Infinity War.
I definitely wanted Infinity War to sit closer to 3 hours, so I have no issue with this one being that long
AVENGERS 4 Promotional Art Puts Earth's Mightiest Heroes In Fresh New Red-And-Silver Quantum Realm Suits
How far we've come to see Nebula as an official Avenger. I never would have guessed that it would happen.
The only one I currently have a problem with is Iron Man’s suit but I’ll wait until I see them in action before giving a yay or nay.
