I have tickets for sunday morning but honestly might try to snag a Friday night ticket if I'm feeling it after work. We occasionally have single seats still open even in our most packed shows...hopefully.
I’m going to be forever upset that Black Widow is not alive for the “Avengers Assemble!” line. She is an OG Avenger and this is the reward she gets
Spoiler question for those who have seen it: So a summary I read on reddit says that Captain Marvel is there at the beginning and is the one to save Tony/Nebula, but then the summary doesn’t mention her again. Was it all just a big red herring that she would play a significant role in reversing the snap?
Basically. She shows up in end battle but that's it. After the beginning there is a time jump and she is off doing her own thing again.
No idea how I pulled it off but I got seats dead center, second to last row at Regal. Friday at 9:15. Literally the only tickets I could find available over the weekend. Wish it were RPX but stoked I got so lucky!
This is how I watched Infinity War the first time. I didn't see it in high quality until months and months later.
Yeah, that was disappointing. Coming off of "Spider-Verse," which used the same type of jokes, those lame cracks need to stop.
Not to mention Shazam where a character's disability/handicap literally disappears after gaining superpowers
Lol that's so lame. Was she added to the MCU at the last minute or something? Was I alone this whole time in thinking that between the end credit scene of IW and having her movie come out so close to Endgame, it definitely came off as if they were making her out to be key figure in defeating Thanos? It would have seemed totally plausible that the combined knowledge of Tony and Nebula could figure out a way to get back to earth on their own
There are maybe two jokes in the movie made at the character’s expense, and one of them is just calling him Lebowski. It’s played for drama more than it is for comedy, but I could see audiences laughing regardless just at the sight of him and because of how the actor plays it. Although the actor and character have been funny in the last couple movies without the change so idk. But it definitely makes a point to have all the other characters encourage him and have sympathy for him. I haven’t seen it with an audience so it’s very likely that it could be a miserable experience for someone in a theater going through something similar if the crowd laughs even at the emotional beats.
Marvel was going to introduce her in Age of Ultron but wanted to give her a solo film first. They basically just tried to cram her in before some of the OG characters left so that she could be with the team. Both times they fight Thanos she isn’t the one to take him down.
Welp that’s an entirely redacted post so I think I’ll bail now. Movie theater employees aren’t paid enough for your bullshit, wait till you’re in your car/home before discussing the movie and if you “lose” a couple dollars at box office/your cup holder none of us will be mad. Throw your shit away. Godspeed.
