i used the marcus app and had no problems no queue or wait room or anything in and out got all 4 of my showings in a span of 6 min
AVENGERS: ENDGAME Ticket Presales Have Already Set A Record As High Demand Crashes Sites The first 3 hours so far have sold 3x more than Infinity War
Was freaking out this morning, had 20 minutes of errors before getting my tickets. Gonna try to avoid the trailer.
Alamo drafthouse app was a little slow but went smoothly and no issues with Cinemark and AMC right at 7AM. Excited to do this 3 days in a row in 3 different formats. Is the teaser they released too spoiler-y?
I'd say pretty much everything in there was inevitable from a plot perspective. Definitely interactions with characters that I guess would be considered spoiler-y, but most fans would have assumed these things would happen for this movie to come full circle.
strange because I had no issues with Fnadango at 8am. Waited in que for 1 minute and got perfect seats.
yea people who were on top of it at like 7:50-8am ish were fine, I didn't even get a queue on Fandango at 7:55. Once it started hitting like 8:30-9 things started to pick up and then it went into insanity after
Took me over an hour with Drafthouse. but got them for Saturday at 10:15am. I just can't commit to a 3 hour movie on opening night/opening day after working all day, let alone convince my wife to do the same.
Just bought tickets on Fandango to two different showings with no issues. Also, they hadn't sold anything since this morning when I tried since the seating chart was exactly the same as I left it at 8:00 or so.
Got tickets right away around 8. I’m set for imax 3D Thursday at 6pm with reserved seat. I’m going to the next theater in town for the reserved seats. I’m not messing around with these crowds and getting a seat I like. I had no problems as I was on the lookout due to this thread. Hell yea. The special look was cool. Does give the most away so far, but really just confirms certain things that were inevitable.
This is why I kept trying for IMAX. And a backup for the IMAX in case my wife's commute is longer than the normal two hours, haha.
I got lucky with my seat for Infinity War. I got there early enough to not get screwed. Not taking any chances with this one. I would have preferred 2d, but the theater with reserved seats didn’t start until 8 and I work the next day. So 3D it is.
Bought tickets for Sunday morning, but I’m going to fight the next person who whines that our site is down like it’s our fault.
Just wait until Episode IX tickets go up. When Force Awakens tickets went up, it took me a solid 2 hours to get opening night tickets. But I'm also not going to major chains like AMC/Cinemark. Alamo Drafthouse will probably be the only movie theatre chain I ever go to again.
Really want to go the IMAX showing, but it’s 20 minutes further away (where this one is 5 minutes down the street) and the theater isn’t nearly as nice.
All the drafthouse screenings near me were near sold out, got the single seat left in the furthest back right lol... didn't know these were posting today but I should have been more alert.
