Thursday showings were mostly sold out @ my nearest Regal, so it’s an early bird Friday showing for gramps over here. April can fast forward itself from here.
I'm so glad I checked early. Cinemark's been down since right after I got mine. Last time I checked, the first Thursday showings in their big XD and standard digital were sold out. My Saturday showing had almost all of the good view seats sold 45 minutes after the e-mails went out.
Also where the fuck is Okoye on all of these posters, I know she already had the whole name thing on that first one but geez
Last I read, $282 million (or more) domestic and over $800 million worldwide in the first weekend. Much of the worldwide total is from it opening in China on the same weekend.
Little did we know that all these theater ticketing IT guys were the most significant casualties of the snap.
I'm super amped for this. side note: I suck at holding my bladder and hate peeing during a movie but at over 3 hours I dont know how I'm going to hold it
im going 5 pm and 9 pm on the 25th 7 pm on the 26th and 7 pm on the 30th might go on the 27th but idk yet i spend like 60$ on tixs already
Despite most ticketing sites being down right now, my theatre still has sold over 250 tickets for the Thursday night shows already.
i just check the theatre i go to for the ultra screen showings and theres like a total of 20 tixs left between both showings and it holds like 200/300 people and most all showings thursday are close to being sold out
i have a feeling it might have a 1billion worldwide opening weekend or very very very close to it with a 300 million domestic opening this movie will rewrite the boxoffice recordbooks
Yeah, my location doesn't have a Large Screen Format, so we tend to sell out slower. That is why these numbers are crazy already.
A lot of people who slept on buying tickets are going to be very upset when all the opening weekend tickets are gone.
