I have more lately but I still prefer watching movies at home haha. I'll go if it's a movie I am extremely hyped and impatient for, but these movies aren't that for me
James Cameron said he is going to make Avatar 4 and 5 quicker and cheaper and that he’ll spend a year trying to figure it out. Wouldn’t be surprised if Disney requested it. https://www.ign.com/articles/james-...he-cost-but-will-take-1-year-to-figure-it-out
A lot of R&D was done in between sequels which is why they cost so much. The visuals could be at a point that Cameron is happy with to move forward with the story
I love these movies, but they are LONG - it seems like a no brainer to me to cut the runtime down a little bit to save some $$$ (if the people who cut the checks are saying you have to, I mean)
hey, I'm not the one making the call! if you ask me, James Cameron has earned getting a blank check and final cut for anything he wants to make it just seems like the most straightforward way of saving money on an Avatar movie to me given how they are made
These should be epics. I like that they are long. However, the process Cameron used to have the entire rough assembly cut fully rendered before cutting it down to the final runtime probably was a big expense that could be cut lol
