    I have more lately but I still prefer watching movies at home haha. I'll go if it's a movie I am extremely hyped and impatient for, but these movies aren't that for me

    James Cameron said he is going to make Avatar 4 and 5 quicker and cheaper and that he’ll spend a year trying to figure it out. Wouldn’t be surprised if Disney requested it.

    The whole reason for their success are the visuals. People are not going for the gripping narrative.

    A lot of R&D was done in between sequels which is why they cost so much. The visuals could be at a point that Cameron is happy with to move forward with the story

    I love these movies, but they are LONG - it seems like a no brainer to me to cut the runtime down a little bit to save some $$$ (if the people who cut the checks are saying you have to, I mean)
