Aurora - What Happened to the Heart? (June 7, 2024)

Some Type Of Skin is wonderful. I’ve been avoiding the other single until release, but am very much anticipating this

 

This starts a little slow for me, but then I just hit the Earthly Delights -> The Dark Dresses Lightly stretch before a work call and I’m back in!

 

Yeah I’m not at all a fan of how this is tracked (Echo of My Shadow, The Conflict of the Mind, and The Essence all falling the first 6 songs when they’re probably the 3 that drag the most on the album isn’t ideal, and it’d be nice to use those to break up some of the similar sounding songs in the second half) but there’s a ton of fun stuff here that I’m excited to dive further into

 

Yesss, that run + The Blade hits hard
