Can't Love, Can't Hurt = 10/10
Just found out a 3-song EP was released in September. Nice to have a few new tracks to check out. This one is the standout, in my opinion:
This band is still great and CL,CH is flawless. Hope the new record is out soon.
Welp, that's super weird. Dan just premiered a new solo song (which, let's be honest, Augustana has been him solo for a while): Listen to Augustana Frontman Dan Layus’s New Song ‘Dangerous Things’ (Exclusive)
Dangerous Things, out Oct. 21.

Woah- great minds!
Made an album thread: Album - Dan Layus (of Augustana) - Dangerous Things (Oct. 21, 2016)
Was going to do the same thing!
Can't Love, Can't Hurt turned 10 a few weeks ago. I wrote about it here: Augustana - Can't Love, Can't Hurt • chorus.fm
Gonna check these guys in a bit for the first time. I'd been meaning to check them out for ages now, alongside Counting Crows... Craig's piece inspired me to finally do so. Decided to check a Counting Crows album first and I'm loving it!
Side note: I’ll always prefer the lyrics to “Heart Shaped Gun” over “Hey Now.”
Can't Love, Can't Hurt is excellent, holy shit.
You've never heard August or Can't Love, Can't Hurt? Man, special day for you!
I just finished listening to Can’t Love, Can’t Hurt... listened to August last night. I need more music like this in my life haha
Have you ever heard Bringing Down the Horse by The Wallflowers?
I haven't haha! I never really checked a lot of stuff from that era of alt rock, excited to dive in more. I know at least one song by The Wallflowers... I know they're fronted by Bob Dylan's son lol
That Wallflowers album has always felt like a counterpart to August and Everything After. They were both produced by the same guy and have a similar sound. I’d check that one out next.
