Phoebe is great, and the way those absolutely perfect melodies just run back to back and trick you into thinking each one is gonna be the chorus instantly generated this stupid meme in my head the first time I heard it

Chateau was a standout on first listen, haven't listened again since then but Sue Me has been stuck in my head after heading it just once, makes sense it's her big one

 

Finally listening to this and it’s already stuck in my head forever.

 

This record is addictive. She’s got a truly special gift for melodic hooks and her lyric writing is hilarious.

She also covered one of her brother’s songs, who covered Phoebe on his Like A Version session last month. Not a fan of his music at all, but cute concept
