Finally confirmed a Drunken Unicorn gig like a decade after my first time visiting/seeing a show there. Can't wait!! Lot of good memories with that place.

please do stop by if you have time! It’s arguably one of the most poppin small venues in town for unsigned bands & I love the Little Five Points area. I’m very familiar, I lived in Atlanta with @CarpetElf maybe a 12-15 minute walk from there before the pandemic forced us out.

I’ve been dying to play there haha, so much so that we scheduled our whole tour around this show once it got booked lol. Atlanta is HARD to get into during the good weather months, we just had a local band that couldn’t help us last tour really dig us and throw us on their bill.

 

Agreed, Atlanta is up there with DC / Philly / LA is terms of booking challenge level. The first time we got to play at the Earl was so incredible but not something that will happen often, especially now that 529 has shifted their sonic purview so drastically. Star bar is dope too, first ATL show ever was there. Love that Elvis shrine

 

star bar rules and i truly thought the unicorn closed bc all that land got sold to a fucking developer a few years ago.

tbf i am sort of out of touch with the city now that i no longer deliver there 4 days a week.

if we draw a handful of people our first time out there it would be HUGE for us getting put on ATL shows more easily in the future

we have a 5/20 show coming together at underground arts I think so unfortunately can't make that happen, but DM me and I'll try and help out!
