Last two episodes were absolutely perfect, I’m going to miss the hell out of this show/universe. Thicc Judge Judy gonna haunt me always
Pretty much as perfect as this show could have ended. There was basically three series finales; Earn and Van in the woods, Al on the farm, and now Darius realizing that the other three are his new family (that's how I interpreted the ending at least, that he realized he was in reality and was happy to see them all there with him). Lakeith is such a fucking amazing actor, that scene with his brother was devastating I'm really going to miss this show. I've never seen another show like this where I just genuinely have no idea where the hell it's going scene to scene while simultaneously being absolutely hilarious and satirical and even able to turn into horror on a dime. What a fucking accomplishment from everyone involved, and I can't wait to see what Donald does next (personally I hope it's music lol).
An odd series finale for an odd show and it was perfect. It was everything it's always been. The thing is, they can always come back in 5-7 years and do another season when the mood strikes similar to how Larry David took very long breaks on Curb saying he was done for a while. But if this is all we ever get, what a show.
The finale was even better the second time. A perfect ending to the show. I want to do a full rewatch soon.
An odd choice, but it almost sounds like it would be like a goofy comedy, which I could do with him doing a lot more of
rewatching this on account of it being on D+ here (still wild that it's there of all places to me lol) and just realised the guy the bartender describes to Al in 1x04, who was hanging around asking about Paperboi, is the dude he gets into the shoot-out with in Crank Dat Killer this show with the details man. that payoff was 6 years in the making
