This is so good.

Still so weird seeing/hearing things I recognize, haha

 

That Shabazz Palace song was on point. Loving this so far, but wondering where it's going. Seems like there isn't much of a main plotline to hook onto yet.

 

And yet, I'm still hooked! These characters are so good man

 

I mean the main plotline would be Earn managing Paperboi, trying to support his kid and win Vanessa over while Paperboi deals with his success and how comfortable he is being perceived as a real gangster

 

Yeah, I understand that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we havent seen much progression in those storylines yet, more of gaining a slow understanding of how these characters are reacting to their respective situations.

 

Really dug tonight's, even more than last week.

 

I'd be totally okay if the show never even had a hard plot and we just follow these guys around, love the characters and vibe that much from what we've seen so far.

 

just watched all 3 in a row, good stuff so far

 

Loved the bits with the suitcase and parking attendant in episode 3.

 

Got excited when Shabazz started playing.

This show is so perfect. It's style is exactly what I've been looking for in a tv show

 

Honestly, my only complaint is it's just a half hour. and not just "it's so good I want more" but I really think it'd be even better with more time per episode

 

Agreed. I just did the same!

 

Caught up last night. Definitely intend to follow this show. The second episode had me cracking up.

 

This and Better Things have been renewed for a second season.

 

FX/FXX is absolutely killing it.

 

I had zero intentions of ever watching this show then I saw all the rave reviews. I Watched all 3 episodes last night and am in love with it.

 

Still need to watch Better Things. There is so much good TV, first time I've had a really hard time keeping up with everything

Darius might be my favorite character after that ep.
