Great first 2 eps. Loved the surrealist aspects of the first ep. The therapy stuff in the second ep was great, and that ending. Earn is cold lol. Also, never thought I'd hear an Alita Battle Angel reference in anything. So random ha.
There's no official quote or anything, but Billboard says FX confirmed to them that it was indeed Earl. https://www.billboard.com/culture/t...-rapper-atlanta-season-4-premiere-1235140448/
Just caught ep 1. marvelous. When does the Blue Blood album drop?? Earl Sweatshirt Raps New Music in First Episode of Atlanta Season 4
just got around to these and they were both killer. Earl as the DOOM tribute was so fitting, his first mixtape as Sly Tendencies always got crazy DOOM comparisons so that coming full circle was great. Van/Earn doing a horror version of that Seinfeld carpark episode was also fantastic episode 2 was... absolutely insane. thought I had a handle on where it was going and then that twist hit, what a roller-coaster. that one scene where we found out what happened at Princeton and then that he was a victim of abuse was crazy intense and beautifully acted
also love that Tracy's back, and the actor playing Earn's therapist absolutely killed it. great performance
God damn this first episode was damn near perfect. The skeleton/cremation joke is possible the hardest I’ve laughed at this show.
I love how they're really leaning back into the comedy this season so far, this one was fantastic. The Earn/D'Angelo stuff was so amazingly weird and the Al story was great and really effective satire on the industry like always. The Yodel Kid cracked me up RIP
The twist at the end of episode 2 was absolutely wild. My god. Donald did a great job with the Princeton monologue too. And it’s great to have Tracy back in the fold. Episode three was solid. Yodel Kid’s record being called “Born to Die” absolutely cracked me up.
