episode 2 didn't fully hit for me but 3 is one of the funniest they've ever done. absolutely amazing and a Jai Paul cameo to top it off, so good but yeah kinda worried about Van lol
Just watched ep 3. Al coming in hot with a chainsaw out of nowhere while the dude watched in horror from his bedroom was the highlight for me. Thought they were gonna do more with that guy after his ghost story though. I almost expect to see him with the ghost up in his bedroom. Love that every main character gets their time to shine here too.
I watched it at 3am and the cut to Al with the chainsaw made me laugh so hard I woke up the house the 21 Savage line wiped me out, too
"...you up?" "I need 300 pieces of fried chicken" "all legs." still making me laugh every time i think about it
I liked how they were showing Earn concerned Van was gonna steal that art piece then at the last scene it’s on her table.
Donald Glover Interviews Donald Glover This is the “interview” that news comes from and it’s uh, really something.
my take on donald interviewing donald is there is a reason why people get paid to conduct interviews and he should let the professionals do it since they're much better at it
This episode was fascinating, that time flew right by. Once I realized what they were doing with the premise I instantly knew this was going to be extremely controversial but I think they portrayed it really well and the ending was oddly beautiful Also I wonder if this is the role Ryan Gosling was supposed to play
so I'm right in thinking dude in the bar at the end was the guy in the boat from episode 1's cold open right? some meaty subtext to unpack there. also very interesting that his name is Earnest too
the actor Tobias Segal who plays Earnest/E is legit the same exact actor from the boat scene, so while it isn't explicitly stated I assumed they were implying its the same guy.
