I kept thinking of Rob Lowe in Beyond the Candelabra all great fathers- Joe Jackson, Marvin Gaye Sr, Tiger's dad, Serena's dad, the father that drops off Emilio Estevez in in the Breakfast Club
That was legitimately the most shocking episode of television I've ever seen. From the second Darius stepped into that mansion I was terrified and that never let up, holy fuck
That felt much more like a movie than any other show I've seen. Beautifully shot and the extra time really let them give moments time to breathe. Lot of suspense throughout. Also what the fuck.
That was fucking incredible. I couldn't keep my eyes off it the whole time. Never in a million years did I think this show would ever do anything like this but I'm pretty sure it's already one of my favorite TV episodes ever. And I guessed that Donald played Teddy within like two minutes lol, I recognized his voice and then noticed the similar facial features and especially mannerisms. It was actually an incredible performance from him and I hope the shock of him playing the character doesn't distract from that Goddamn I love this show
Had to wake up early and rewatch this episode before work. This is really incredible work by everyone involved
I feel dumb for not realizing he was playing Teddy when apparently everyone else did, I was too focused on trying to figure out how they did the prostethics and that ostrich egg
I didn't get it until he screamed at Darius, because that scream voice is in his standup special that I've watched like 20 times.
