do we really need a new ATDI record in 2016? probably not, but I dig the song and am looking forward to the record because I choose to try and enjoy things, but that's just me.
You can say anything negative man. Just people are gonna talk about it. There is no evidence that ATDI is doing this solely for the money, although that totally could be an aspect of it. Their live shows seem to require at least a bit of passion though.
Were these just the dates they cancelled from their last tour? I know the MI date was cancelled after Cedric's vocal issues EDIT: Nevermind, just saw in another thread that they probably are haha
I mean it's definitely a cash grab and that's not a negative thing since what they're doing is their job The song is pretty good, but I think that has to do with Refused setting my bar for new songs very very low
I don't mind the song. Cedric just sounds way too different from RoC era, but that's to be expected. Still wish Jim was on board. That being my only concern, but I love Engine Down. So maybe the rest of the album will be a mix of post RoC songs, and Demure. Which would be lovely.
tbh: I'm surprised his voice fits even this well with ATDI at this point. I see what people are saying but I think that might be about as close as we get to how he used to sound in this band. I'll take it
Like it's definitely not the best but I don't get that "You're ruining this" feeling I did from Refused
It was so safe and somehow also bad at being safe, it's like every way the album could be looked at still made it a bad album
it sounds like tmv on the first two releases without any of the experimentation. so, i guess as steve pointed out, kinda like antemasque
I just don't see how this sounds anything like TMV at all. And saying this sounds like The Mars Volta without experimentation.. which means it doesn't sound like TMV at all, because they thrive off their experimentation.
