It sounds like Cedric wants to carry on from exactly where they left off and Omar really doesn't. I'm not sure if either really work.
Coachella was for money. Read the interview, Omar sounds more than happy with the band currently, touring and recording Omar Rodriguez-Lopez on Solo-LP Series, New ATDI Album
releasing a record on rise is about as close to a cash grab for a release that any of these legacy bands can muster
Sorry wasn't trying to put words in your mouth, just the term cash grab usually has negative connotations of being a record just for money and none of the band members caring too much about it.
1. this was good, but not o.g. atdi level good; I felt something is missing - I wonder if it has to do with Jim being absent or just they moving on 2. lyrics are cringe worthy but not in the typical Cedric kind of way, feels like he tried to write something more straightforward this time and it suffers from it 3. I am still excited to give the whole album a spin tho
Have to give it a few more listens but it's at a like-level already for me. Prob not classic but that's ok, this is a start. Also I was reading the lyrics as it was going on and just smiling, I love how nonsensical they are.
I dont give a fuck if it's for the money or not, this song sucks so they're not grabbing my cash anytime soon #hottake
chris, be careful of saying anything negative on this website, you might get called a reddit commenter.
Lol dogg no one is giving you flack for not liking the song, and that is exactly the kind of comment you would give someone else shit for if it was a band/song you enjoyed
There's ways to dislike something and talk openly about it with discussion, and then there's this. It's not contributing to any discussion, except for you saying it's a cash grab because of Rise.
