I do get it though, Antemasque is cool

 

I really want the second Antemasque album that is done, real bad, but that seems less and less likely every passing day. But I want new TMV really bad too. I just want new Cedric & Omar anything honestly.

 

Just wanted to pop in and say that I revisted interalia again today and it's really great still

 

Eh maybe I need to revisit too cuz it pales compared to all their other work, and I never really came back to it.

 

I really think the best tracks on the album are in the same league as their best tracks from earlier, and the ones that aren;t are still really strong songs

Honestly, interalia caught alot of flak for no reason. People wanted it to sound like ROC did in 2000 and that was never going to happen. And the end of governed by contagion fucking rocks.

 

Like 2 years later and still never gave interala a listen

 

I actually really enjoyed the ep

 

Shit forgot they did that too. The amount of "meh" the lp was getting made me too nervous to check it out out of fear of it somehow tainting the rest of their (steller) discog

I’m somewhat in between... I don’t think the newest album and EP are on the level of their classic stuff, but I wasn’t really expecting them to be. If you manage expectations and go in knowing that these releases came out 17 years after Relationship of Command, there’s solid tracks on each.

 

It is absolutely ridiculous how good Relationship Of Command is. It takes all my restraint not to write this online every time I listen to it but I'm ignoring that voice today.

 

Remains my personal #1 album of all time Indefinitely.

interalia feels really relevant with the world the way it is right now. Fuck, everything they’ve put out is fantastic.
