I wasn't as hyped as others here were. ATDI is in my top 10 favorite bands of all time. Their surreal lyrics, chaotic song structures, tight rhythm sections etc. I was very skeptical about this whole thing. I've enjoyed the songs they've released thus far. Though still cautious of such a long break, and venture into other bands. TMV being the only 1 side project out of the others(don't care for Sparta or Bosnian Rainbows) I ever found interest in. Having said all that these reviews have me very excited.
nothing can top "Cosmonaut" which is their best song. and i accepted that a long time ago, i'm simply glad we're getting music after all this time
Bunch more reviews and interviews pouring out including an interview on rs. All hyping it as a comeback.
Their first release is pretty good. Think At The Drive-In, but more 60's rock/garage rock. I'm mostly excited for their second album....Travis Barker wrote and recorded drums with them on it. There are tons of live videos of them playing the songs, but they haven't said anything in regards to it's release.
I saw Antemasque perform 8-10 songs from the second album live, about two years ago, and it was so good
we're in a world where most things don't really leak anymore. Most albums that came out today didn't ever leak
Strange. Just waiting for merchnow to totally fuck me. Vinyl was supposed to ship today and it didn't. Last time I used merchnow I ordered two shirts and they waited a month and a half to tell me the one was out of stock
I found the NFG leak so odd. Hopeless Records does a great job keeping that stuff locked down. I feel like they did it on purpose or something. They started selling the album at their shows weeks before the release date.
