New songs sound like they'd be at home on modern hard rock radio, not for me.

Also the lyrics are fucking awful

  4. yo it isn't the first time they release something without his input

  5. Their past stuff also could belong to modern hard rock radio no ? It's not like they are an overly heavy and non accessible band.

also, Jim obviously did not have his heart in the band, why would you want negativity like that? The music would certainly suffer.

Haven't checked out this new song yet but someone said the vocals in Governed by Contagions sounded like Rock Lobster and I can't unhear it....

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but "Cosmonaut" from Relationship of Command is a great example of their ability to combine melody and manic instrumentation. My favorite by them for sure.

So stoked for this. Yeah lyrics aren't strong. But Relationship of Command is a top 5 record of all time for me, so I'll always be excited for anything from ATDI

Listening to them twice I think I'm going to have to agree.

I'm not huge on them yet, we'll see though.

Yea regardless of the lyrics I'm digging both of the songs. Was never expecting for them to sound the exact same after 17 years, so I'm pumped for the new album and to see them in March.

Gonna listen to the new song on lunch break and after the Refused debacle I expect to hate it

  18. It's way better than Refused's new stuff. Idk what they thought with that glam rock sound following up such an influential record

Yeah I found some of the songs generic but others were great. Francafrique and I believe it was called new/old war or something like that.
