I did see videos of him last night asking security to pull some people out. All the people who are mad it him for not hearing the people yelling for him to stop the show have clearly never heard of in-ear monitors? You can't hear shit on stage

 

There’s literally a video of him telling the crowd to beat the shit out of a 10 year old kid for trying to take his shoe a couple years ago. Dude has a history of encouraging reckless and unruly behavior. Defending him in any capacity is really fucking dumb.

 

I assume he also couldn’t see the people being given CPR as he was standing on a platform about 10ft above him? That video on Twitter is chilling, as he’s looking down into the security pit seeing multiple people trying to be revived.

 

Or the ambulance pushing through the crowd was flashing lights

 

I’m not trying to defend him, but give some kind of context to some of these videos that have been posted (I haven’t seen them all, which is why I said I can’t comment on his behavior here).

 

The dude encouraged unmasked crowds to gather and create a disturbance at a McDonalds in the height of the pandemic…all for a photo op.

It’s almost like the dude just isn’t an intelligent individual.

 

I get that. I don’t think Travis Scott is solely responsible. I do, however, think that based on his past actions, he actively encourages an environment at shows where this sort of thing is allowed to happen.

 

Most of the blame rests with the production crew, festival organizers, and security, but it’s pretty clear Scott doesn’t care about creating a safe environment for his fans.

And also I’m not gonna rush to defend someone who brings Drake’s creepy ass out on stage.

 

Travis is absolutely not the only one involved in this, not by a long shot, but he absolutely should take more accountability than the 5 sentences he posted on Twitter and we'll see what he does in the aftermath

 

Organizers and police should be taken to task. They literally let people tear down fences and rush through. I don't know how they can rightfully run the show with the chaos earlier in the day. It was pretty much a riot before performances even started. The show should have been canned.

agreed but i'm willing to bet his lawyers are all over his ass to not cop to one ounce of responsibility in any capacity.

 

There’s no way he will be held accountable legally unfortunately, wouldn’t be shocked by an additional statement but this is just horrifying, definitely unbelievable that festival organizers would be ok with such limited security, especially knowing Someone of Drakes (clown) size was gonna come out, just really scary and terrible all around

 

This has been really fucking with me, I can't get some of those images out of my head. I think it just hits so close to home because I've been to so many shows like this, including Travis shows. If I lived in the area I probably would have went to this. It could have been me. I don't know, it's really disturbing and I feel absolutely awful for these kids and their families

 

This video of people dancing on top of the ambulance thats trying to save those lives is the most fucked up thing I've seen.
