Up and Atom remains one of those 'I remember where I was when I heard this for the first time' kinda songs & the self-titled was incredibly slept on but I may prefer it to the debut. so ready for this!

 

sounds about as massive as you'd expect, FUCK YEAH

 

By the looks of the *checks notes* left sleeve, we are getting a 9 track album.

 

Just found out about this band, really into them. They remind me a little of Secret & Whisper

 

This is my favorite of all the pre-release singles. The keys lead is so epic!

First impressions are very positive. These guys know how to write a song. That said, I wish the band would incorporate dynamics better. I'd love a few audibly quieter moments. Just a little criticism that's been popping up so far.

 

I like this a whole lot but it is kinda samey

FUCK THAT'S BEAUTIFUL

 

This is a band I really enjoy listening to for maybe 15 minutes at a time and this record didn’t change that

 

Yeah, this is hitting just right. It’s definitely very samey; I can’t tell one song from another after 2 listens but goddamn if isn’t one of the most triumphant things I’ve heard in a while

 

Saw them last night and holy hell this band is great live. Drummer is incredible. Don't know how long their set is on the Holy Fawn tour bc it was an off day headliner but they played this whole record front to back and a few others

 

Wow, they were amazing live just as I thought. They just have so much energy and great musicianship. I’ve only listened to their new album, but they played 5 off of it (Eyes, Sleep Whisper, Sedative, Human, and Decades). They only played 2 off old albums (I don’t know which songs because I haven’t listened to them but they fuckin slapped)

 

They sounded fantastic when I saw them in PVD w/ Holy Fawn this past weekend. Came back to the record after not really connecting with it much at release and I like it much more now

 

Yeah same. Weird how this record is simultaneously pretty homogenous but also a grower, usually it’s one or the other

 

it's been growing on me for months, you can't argue with melodies this strong

 

This band has such a great sound. Loving this album.

 

These guys just crushed it in Philly and I am in now

 

I saw them in New Haven, didn’t know there was a thread for the album. It’s great! I became a fan like immediately lol

 

I need to give this a legitimate chance. I like the idea of their sound, but outside of a couple songs it's just sooooo samey to me right now.
