What do y'all make of this Pinegrove situation? I'm certainly not going to buy a shirt or go to a show, but honestly, I think I'm just very skeptical overall of the overtly, obnoxiously woke, faux-angry white dudes on this site, like after one got outed (who is still overtly woke and obnoxious as ever on FB) I just don't think I can trust some people on this site w/ their motives.

This is incredibly reductive towards the conversations that have been happening and the feelings expressed by so many. I'm not going to get into it in this thread, but it really has nothing to do with that at all.

 

After reading the article, I was initially ready to believe that the abuse that occurred wasn't malicious and that the accuser was satisfied with the steps Evan had taken, and I was cautiously optimistic. But with all the talk going around that the accuser is being misrepresented and isn't comfortable with the situation, I can't ignore all that

 

I still think the conversation is being dominated by dudes. Sorry.
