I've been listening to a lot of Bright Eyes lately, mostly because I realized I had never heard Letting Off the Happiness

 

wheres the blow fish

 

I just started listening to them last year and really took my first deep dive of their discography this spring/summer

 

Honestly I think listening to someone’s top 100 of the year is probably a good way to understand their tastes? Right?

Anyway here’s mine. It’s hilarious to me that Rain Sounds & Nature Sounds made my top 5 artists. I used to use playlists to sleep but honestly haven’t done it in months, so just goes to show how much they still outnumbered music I actually listened to.

The list is a little surprising to me. My top 100 will probably just be just a chunk of my everyday playlists but we’ll see (I haven’t looked yet).

Also my minutes is so low/accuracy so skewed because at least half the time we are listening to my ex’s Spotify not mine

 

you just copy and paste the link to the playlist and it auto embeds

Part of the reason I don't listen to music or ambient noise while I sleep is because I don't want it to throw off my stats. The other reason is because it actually distracts me from going to sleep and then I wake up in the middle of the night and turn it off.

 

I wish Apple Music did this

 

you can pay extra for iStats

 

I just use last.fm and it scrobbles apple music and spotify and I check the end of the year stuff there when theirs is ready

Nah, I was just hopin' to read some firsthand accounts. I bet it's really surprising.

 

I still used it up until earlier this year before I switched to Spotify lol. My last.fm is embarrassing as hell though i'm sure cause I started using it in like 2005
