I remember the moment I saw the wrapping paper 'Santa' used a few days after xmas in like 3rd or 4th grade in my parents bedroom. I remember it so vividly, that's when I knew, it was HEARTBREAKING.

THEN I WALKED DOWN STAIRS AND I SAID MOM, DAD, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE? WHAT IS THIS SHIT? YOU BEEN LYING ABOUT SANTA THIS WHOLE TIME, I WANT DOUBLE PRESENTS NEXT YEAR. FUCK OUTTA MY FACE.

 

it's my bf's first hanukah so he's been giving me little gifts each night but for family we've just been doing one night of gifts for the one night my parents make dinner for years now

My parents were super committed to me believing in Santa

There was one year I was starting to doubt it, so on Christmas Eve night we went over our other family members house for dinner, and we came back to the house and the presents were there under the tree. Blew my damn mind at the time.

They had their best friend come over and move them under the tree while we were gone
