have you seen clone wars? TCW is some of my favorite star wars material and singlehandedly makes the prequels worth existing since they gave birth to that show.

That's crazy. When I got the trilogy on VHS, ANH was something my parents saw in the theater when they were 10 & 12. It was an old movie. Looking back, that box set came out in 1995. So it was 18 years old. Fellowship is now 17.

My first exposure to Star Wars was when they played on tv we recorded them onto some blank VHS tapes. I watched the shit out of those haha. I was like 4 so the Ewoks were my fav, fuck you

The ones I've read in order of how much I liked them, from most to least: Lost Stars, Bloodline, Leia: Princess of Alderaan, Thrawn, Ahsoka, Catalyst, Aftermath. All of them have been at least pretty good. I got a little bored toward the end of Catalyst though. I also forgot a lot of what happened in Ahsoka so maybe it should be higher

yeah, I watched it a year or two ago. It's great

I'm not even a prequel hater. Next year there's a novel coming out about Padme and one about Qui-Gon & Obi Wan and I'm pretty psyched about those. They were written by the authors of a few of the other ones I liked

I mean, yeah, but that’s a pretty simplified version of it. Like, even if you don’t agree with his points, the presentation and the work that goes into them is so amazing. I think each review is like 60-90 minutes long lol

rebels is good too. i thought the first season was rough but there's some excellent payoff for some unanswered clone wars questions. never really dipped into the novels but i do like the comics a fair bit.
