I’m sure there are! I’m just saying based on what I have seen out there, the toxicity of a twitch live chat, and my general disinterest in streaming....I’m not invested enough to go out and look.

Yeah there definitely is a lot of toxicity on twitch, i'm just basing my opinion off the GDQ marathons that I watch every second I can of, they have a couple Trans people even host the event which is super cool, the moderators also moderate the fuck out of twitch chat during the events thankfully. Twitch chat in general is a terrible place a lot of the time.

Yup that's a majority of what I watch for streaming.

I'm real weird though and like watching streams of JRPGs that still take like 9 hours to beat lol.

Look, I get it. It's just not for me. I never said it was dumb. I never said you didn't watch good players. I would rather play video games than watch. I used to be a gamer. An extremely good one. I would play in CAL, TWL, and other amateur leagues. Not good enough to go pro, but I played constantly. People would watch videos that I made personally and would take demos from me to put in their videos. They were called frag videos at this point... not sure if you're familiar. This was before live streaming, so you'd have to run a script in the game to record your gameplay and then play the demos back in the game, while running a command for the game to send out 30 screenshots a second, then you'd have to convert those images into a video, record audio separately, etc. You could try to record with FRAPS, but it always sucked. It was a whole thing. So, yeah. I'd rather play than watch. I don't play anymore though.

Some highlights or clips or a frag video are good, but twitch is a major hard pass for me.
