Anyway I haven’t ventured around Florida too much bc everything is far away and also I’m poor and also my area is consistently named one of the best beaches and whatever so why would I go elsewhere idk

Has anyone ever rented a car from Alamo? Any thoughts/experiences on their company? Considering renting from them when I head out west this fall.

 

Once and it was terrible

damn it this is the last thing I wanted to see haha. Alamo seems to be the only company that won't overcharge me to pick up in Denver and drop off in Phoenix. Ugh.

 

I mean renting a car is a luxury so if it's about saving $$$ go for it but yeah I did not have a pleasant experience with Alamo

They didn't have my requested model or similar (requested a tiny car and ended up with a fucking van) when I made my reservation well in advance, they also took forever to get me said fucking van, said they would pick me up at airport and did not, there was lots of fine print that resulted in me paying more (I don't think this would happen with you based on what you're describing).

 

I feel like all those companies are essentially the same
