I dunno how the fuck I’m gonna finish this project in time for class. I wish school could take into the account that my job has me working kinda shitty hours and I’m just doin the best I can ://///

 

Maybe reach out to the prof? Some can be more accommodating then you think if you try forming a relationship with them and/or show you're working hard.

I got 2 zeros in my online class for skipping two assignments and my prof wrote that she was concerned for my grade so I emailed her and told her I had shit going on and was sick and she was like you should have asked for an extension, feel free to ask for one if you need it on one of the upcoming assignments and I was like...well shit. If I had known that.
Now with just those 2 zeros I have to struggle to pull a C :( I shoulda reached out to begin with, is the moral of the story.

 

Most profs want to see students succeed. Most of the times when I heard of students complaining about a prof it was because they were students with shitty attitudes. Some arrogant thinking they can just beg the prof after coming to class late/not at all and not doing assignments and the prof would just roll over. I was 26 when I started going back to school and I realized being an older student really helped because I was able to have a better perspective and attitude towards school.

It's hard believe me I get it, but keeping that open line of communcation with professors has taken my grades from C/B to A's more than once.
