I watched it yesterday and thought it was great! Looked wonderful as his stuff usually does and I really liked the storytelling too. Looking forward to checking out the other three.
I just saw this, wild fucking movie. not sure I understood most of it but some absolutely incredible line deliveries. Carrell had the entire theatre dying every line
I rewatched this the other night. Really special movie. That Margot Robbie scene is something else. Just like Augie I can't fully explain why it effects me.
I just watched Darjeeling for the first time and thought it was just okay. Wes' style either completely hooks me or I bounce off it completely depending on the movie, think this was the latter. I loved the prequel short film a lot though lmao
we watched the Dahl stuff tonight. pretty cute but not necessarily something I'd ever watch again. snake one was definitely the best of the bunch, such a good reveal feel like I haven't seen Richard Ayoade in years, was nice to see him pop up
Budapest Hotel is my favorite of his by a mile. I think the critique that he's all style no substance is a little tired, but if there's a movie of his that defies that for me it's that one. I'm not sure why Moonrise Kingdom is a lot of people's favorite, didn't do much for me.
I like Moonrise, but it’s the poster child for the all style no substance critique one of the only ones where I think it’s on point
saw this a couple days ago and I love the style per usual with Wes Anderson, acting was good as well, but a lot of this didn't do much for me.
