I really hope this is good. The story of the games is intriguing, but Unity is still the only one I've played.

 

I only played Black Flag and it consumed so much of my time. Will go see this.

 

I need to get around to playing Brotherhood, don't play games nearly as much as I used to though

Thread title could use the director name and release year to avoid confusion with the games (unless this thread is meant to discuss both)

 

The prefix says movie. I should have added the year and director for sure though. I'll do that

 

I guess prefixes are something you can see on the full website? I haven't been on a computer for recreational reasons in maybe 6 months

 

Maybe this will be the first good movie based on a game?

Fox pulling this from SDCC is the worst sign.

 

I thought a lot of studios were pulling content from SDCC due to potential leaks?

 

Yeah it's cause of leaks and it's not like it's the only movie that's been pulled. Let's not get too pessimistic just yet.

 

Consider me excited. Looks pretty sweet.

 

Great trailer. Bad song choice. Reminds me of the dub step in the last Warcraft trailer , but I know the it's the marketing/pr side of it so w/e haha. This actually looks really interesting and definitely feels like the game, so I'm excited

 

Yeah I was gonna say Kanye was a weird choice.

Looks like Assassin's Creed though. This could be good

 

Hahaha did not expect to hear I Am a God when I started that trailer

This looks incredibly faithful to the games yet still original, I think this could be really good

 

Looks dope, agree with the odd song choice though.

 

I seem to be the only one on the internet who likes the song choice. For everyone who hates it, what would you have preferred instead?

Also, interesting way to portray the Animus.

 

Looks alright. Having Fassbender is pretty huge. He'll slay it.

 

I'll see this. Also I am wearing a Kanye shirt right now so it was extremely relevant.

 

Looks pretty cool. Excited to see what Justin Kurzel can do. Macbeth was one of the best movies I saw last year and it was absolutely beautiful.

 

Is that the actual plot of the game?

 

Yeah, you go back in time using the animus to relive the memories of your ancestors to help this company find a ancient artifact.

 

But you are dead? And the Animus...

Just seems super convoluted.
