after two times through I was pretty blown away by a couple of things.. the guitars on here not only are really well written but the tones sound great too! I also love the use of time signatures. 5/4 and others used early on.. need to count some of the other stuff out to see what they are doing but early impressions there were impressive. The bass lines on here get pretty technical at times as well which is always good to hear. My least favorite part of the record are the vocals, at times they feel a little forced in certain sections... they also sound incredible at times as well though so its a minor flaw.. I would say this is pretty much all I could ask for as far as a record from this genre..

With way better guitars I suppose? Vocally I hear it sort of at least that era

Just read on fb that his record is actually two years old... Jeez that must be frustrating to sit on something that long.

If the singer could just up his vocal performance a little bit these guys could be great. Also the tempos on here don't fluctuate quite enough but I really really like this record
