Sometimes I get sad that this show is ruined for me.

 

I feel like I’m in a marathon and I can see the finish line but my legs are broken and I’m crawling my way to this finish. I don’t even know what’s going on anymore. I just want to say I’ve finished the race

 

The ADR in these new seasons is straight up lazy. Probably the worst I've ever seen

 

I wish so badly that Taran Killam would stop being cast in things.

 

Its realllllly bad. Some of the stand-in shots are really bad too.

 

Boy, did the end of this season suck

 

Legit did not know it was back today...


So the ending doesn't have closure?

It wraps up most of the season 4/5 storylines but like...I still have so many questions

 

I liked it.

I’m two episodes from the end and I’m close to bailing on this. I can’t believe how much I dislike this.

 

This is rough

 

So glad it’s over. And I’d say it has closure. There were a couple chuckles in the last half but it’s easily my least favorite season of television I’ve ever seen. Wow. In my headcanon only 1-3 exist and it’s still one of my favorite shows ever.

 

I honestly don’t want to return to the first 3 seasons. This was just such a slog

 

This was messy but wasn’t terrible. It’s like those late seasons of the office for me, probably better off without it but the fact that they exist doesn’t ruin anything

 

That was very tough to get through.

 

Watched the first 4 new ones. Really like them so far. GOB is amazing.

 

-The ending wasn't rewarding
-The use of blue screen/ADR/stand ins was distracting to the point of me not paying attention
-the character coming back in the last episode made no sense
-the Tobias arc just stunk
-the resolution of the court stuff was uhhhhhhh

 

1 episode in, still bad

 

I liked it, didn’t love it. I would have preferred seasons four and five not having anything with the fake block shit. And most of the Tobias stuff I didn’t like.

The whole missing Lucille 2 mystery was great though, I enjoyed all of that.

Still made me laugh a good amount overall.

 

- it only makes sense in RL because Portia didnt want to do this season and Hurwitz basically begged her to.- yea Tobias was wasted in a stupid subplot
- the court stuff and the grandma thread was the only premise i was interested in but the execution wasnt great imo. the lawyer group wasnt funny at all

just in general season 5 was a clusterfuck. so convoluted with each character having a different plot and non of them were remotely interesting or satisfying in the end. Season 4 i thought was at least a cool interwoven puzzle with each episode focusing on its own protagonist. this one was unfortunately just ended up being a

 

I think the main thing that sticks out to me as a problem with the show since it came back is that none of the new characters are funny or interesting to me whereas the original seasons constantly had funny one-off characters or people that stuck around for half a season then left.

I’m struggling to think of even one new character I liked.

I still think all of the main cast can be super funny and usually are on their own. But stuff like Tobias with his new family isn’t funny to me at all.

 

It's a bummer because Mooney, Bamford, and Smulders were all squandered. With that kind of talent, you really need to utilize them.

 

Yeah, I love Mooney but his one scene in Parks and Recreation is probably funnier than every moment in this season five, even though he got a few chuckles out of me.

I do like his name being Murphybrown though, haha

 

So is Portia in the second half at all? You can spoil me I don't care
