Why does that courtesy only go one way though? I don’t want to have to click multiple spoiler tags just to read a word or a phrase in a larger post. That’s why there is a policy so we don’t have to decide what is prooper to do.
I’m intolerant of dumb people proclaiming their lack of intelligence. Whether I’m smart or not is irrelevant.
I'm scoping out spoilers prior to the release of a film and then quoting Greg the moment its released
Only in certain contexts. They have their rightful place. Other places they don’t belong Wait... that came out wrong.
Stop making bad posts. Edit: you’ll notice my snark to you in that SW Thread was only after YOU threw snark at me and the other person who simply said, “no”.
Okay. Your opinion doesn’t change mine. Especially when you don’t give any context to yours. Sorry it didn’t work for you. It’s certainly not my favorite either. I had incredibly low expectations for it and I think that helped me to enjoy it for what it was.
imagine thinking that if you wanna chat about a netflix show unspoiled the right thing to do is watch it all at 3am
Just like, spoiler tag it for the first week or so if you feel like it and if not then everyone else needs to be aware there will be spoilers in here. I'd say proper etiquette for a streaming show that drops all at once is to have like "EP #" spoilers for the first week or so
There isn’t a policy that specific at this point. You could ask Jason about it if you like. But since he made a policy that covers movies and most TV shows and such, people still don’t really follow it. So I’m not sure if it would really change anything. But if something like that is set up it should be followed.
Common sense is not going into a thread about a movie or show you haven’t seen and being mad if something is spoiled.
id say common decency is recognizing that on the forum you post on for free having fun convos is more important than saving the 1/10th of a second it takes to hover over a spoiler tag
Spoiler-tagging something because you're thinking about other people is breaking the rules? This is a dumb conversation.
