Ya know I was on like episode 3 of Season 4 and I kind of got bored and flat out stopped, so this is fucking PERFECT!

Really interested to seeing how it turns out, as well as season 5. I could also see it being realeased within 2 weeks to a month

 

I never could finish season 4 so this is perfect. also the fact that it comes out on cinco de quattro is incredible, haha.

 

Let the great remix begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a little skeptical about the remix cuz the two biggest problems with season 4 were

1. Not enough scenes where the whole cast was together

And 2. Pacing issues due to overlength

And re-editing and adding new narration doesn’t really fix either of those. But should definitely be interesting!

 

At least season 4 had the BAMF

 

never finished S4 so I'm p excited about this

 

s4 is brilliant storytelling with huge, incredible jokes that slowly pay off. I will defend that season to the death.

But I do prefer the classic structure

 

I'll forever defend S4 and I am also excited to see this new recut! Both are possible.

Well I think expanding it to be more episodes with shorter running times will definitely help the second issue.

 

OG Season 4 is great

 

i like season 4 a whole lot but as a whole it wasn't quite as rewatchable for me because a lot of my least favorite episodes are earlier on (george sr and lindsay, in particular), much of the last half is incredible and classic AD. mixing up the characters to be more "classic style" or to at least give some more variety and less of the weaker plot lines at once should help the season a lot imo, i'm really excited to revisit the season.

 

Maybe, but the total running time will end up being about the same, so the less funny stuff that derailed the pacing the first time will still be there, it’ll just be in a different spot

Memento is so overrated. Just because the story is told backwards doesn't mean it's good. The whole thing is a gimmick.

 

It is good tho

 

I actually just feel bad for you that you have that mindset. Your loss!

 

After watching it twice, it loses all it's appeal and any viewings after that (maybe two more times over the years) it's just a lame duck.

 

I've watched it way more than two times, and have watched the chronological version, it's never not been a perfect film
