How the hell are we coming up on 5 YEARS since season 4 was released? I still tell people, “you should watch Arrested Development! They just brought it back on Netflix”.

Someone reminded me today of the idea that a big portion of the season will *alledgedly* be flashbacks with different actors and shattered my excitement

I hope Mitch knows better

 

I don't think so. That idea was floated around before the entire cast signed on.

If this actually happened, we would have heard something by now.

 

but have we heard anything? unless I'm totally out of the loop (which is very possible) we haven't heard anything. I haven't even seen set photos. I remember seeing regular updates during S4

 

Well, Seth Rogan and Kristin Wiig played young George Sr. and Lucille in season 4

 

and it did nothing for me.

I want to see the cast I love playing the characters I love!

 

Whatever happened to Mitch’s chronological cut of season 4? Didn’t Howard even record new narration for it?

This is eating away at me.

 

Maybe it didn't work? The season was pretty deliberately structured to slowly pay off jokes, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just okay when put in chronological order.

But I'm definitely curious to see it. Maybe Netflix will tease season 5 by releasing an episode weekly leading up to the new season

 

Still haven’t finished season four...

 

The last 3-4 episodes of season four are peak AD, the season builds on itself amazingly

 

Still feel like I can pick out specific bits of Paul Rust's writing when I watch season four. It's great

 

I didn't know he wrote on the show!!! Ahhh

 

I still don't like how they ended S4 with George Michael punching his dad, just an odd way to end the season people spent years waiting for

 

I thought that moment was incredible and perfect.

 

Yeah it totally worked with the story they told

 

When do we thing S5 will premiere? This fall ?
