hey do you remember me???
mal if that's you, i'm the guy who keeps posting on your facebook thanking you for all your work and asking about the new album
hi guys thank you so much for all the good things y'all have been saying :) very nice ppl here
thanks for the news tunes. i played the hell out of the body over the weekend. can't wait to hear what's next.
awh thanks! some of these songs really toe the line between corny and confessional and i guess most of the music is like that but im just glad yall are digin these few. idk when the album is coming out. its been done for over a year but ive been la dee daa lately. i'll send yall a preview when it gets mastered bcuz yall are sweethearts.
I love its confessional quality. Its not corny to me, it feels honest and thats what makes it powerful
Cant wait for the alb
thank you! and yeah "corny" was too diminutive i think. this kind of material can make me feel uncomfortable sometimes. especially when it intermingles with real life.
Interesting you say that because your older material oftentimes feels like it comes from a place of sadness or feeling lost, yet with this release it seems lyrically grounded in experiencing beauty and love. Do you think its because it has to do with that shift?
I ask bc i write poetry myself and sometimes feel its more difficult articulating joy than melancholy
