Their Bodies In A Fog was a top 5 for me in 2014, would love a new LP this year!

Their Bodies in a Fog is one of my all time favorite albums. This one is soul crushingly beautiful too. Would love a new album this year

awh thanks! some of these songs really toe the line between corny and confessional and i guess most of the music is like that but im just glad yall are digin these few. idk when the album is coming out. its been done for over a year but ive been la dee daa lately. i'll send yall a preview when it gets mastered bcuz yall are sweethearts.

 

I love its confessional quality. Its not corny to me, it feels honest and thats what makes it powerful

thank you! and yeah "corny" was too diminutive i think. this kind of material can make me feel uncomfortable sometimes. especially when it intermingles with real life.

 

Interesting you say that because your older material oftentimes feels like it comes from a place of sadness or feeling lost, yet with this release it seems lyrically grounded in experiencing beauty and love. Do you think its because it has to do with that shift?

I ask bc i write poetry myself and sometimes feel its more difficult articulating joy than melancholy
