Arrange records are so easy to get lost in and this one is no different. Such a gorgeous record. Favorite tracks on first listen are: Penguindrum, Bringing the Block, and the Family Inheritance (this one is so fucking cool haha).
Agreed that “The Family Inheritance” is cool as hell. I want the song to go on longer but the way it dips out like that is sick so i wouldnt change anything. In other news, im relistening to Their Bodies in a Fog this morning while it rains and its so damn beautiful. The way “Home” blossoms open feels simultaneously intimate and grandiose.
i made like 24 songs for Blood Dust so i'll probably get some of the body ep ones mastered and probably just add them as bonus tracks next year.
this has been really hitting a spot with me over the past few listens. i can't say there's a bad song on here but my favourites have to be; the Lone Ranger, Loom, Can't Help Every Way, Bringing the Block, Hunters, Penguindrum, A Way For Me, and Violence in Color. i know that's like half the album but fuck it.
Yeah, I’d really like to hear this, based on all the posts in here. This somehow slipped past my attention.
its hard to disagree when its one of the best pieces of music ever recorded. it beats britney spears "everytime"
