used to really like them so yeah I'll be checking this out!

 

Throw a bit of ‘Home, Like NoPlace is There’ in the mix and I think that nails it. Really good album

 

2010s Midwest emo, Charmer, Dogleg

 

Going into this blind and Object Permanence is such a jam. My goodness.

I had no idea this was even coming. I really enjoyed their EP.

 

This fucking rules. So catchy and hard hitting. Full of bangers. Definitely going to be up there in my AOTY lost with TWY and Coheed.

 

This has by far my favorite writing from this scene in a minute.

 

What everyone else said, but also The Wonder Years meets The Hotelier.

 

I'd say if you like Turnover - Magnolia era
Maybe some older Republic of Wolves. That is what this most reminds me of so far.

Don't really hear TWY (this band is better) but I do hear some early Hotelier on songs like Formative Age

 

Yeah don’t go into this expecting it to sound anything like TWY.

Absolutely loving this so far, I’m only half way through and there’s already so many stand out moments.

 

I hear a little Spanish Love Songs in here (Object Permanence) but definitely The Hotelier. 100% my shit

 

This band and bicycle inn (and to a lesser extent hot mulligan) occupy the same space in my brain

this is so, so good

 

I hear a little bit of Transit in there at times too.

 

Album is great. Highlights for me are Overture, Object Permanence, Aries, Muscle Memory
