I feel like Ive seen AFS twice already since they broke up. Once in NYC like 8 years ago and once in NJ like 5 years ago??
Hell yeah! The tour routing is so weird though. New York City and New Jersey dates are a month apart from each other.
My weird take with this band is I always listened to Smile for Them the most which I think most people didn't care for. Anyway, think I'm going to try to get to this cus I've always wanted to see them.
This album is by far the one I fucked with the most but Williamsburg and Hold the Door have always been legit bangers for me
Birthday is in July but I’ll take the early wishes thank you my friend. We know he gone anyway. Giannis for Blake
Run Right Back In has like 7000 plays in my iTunes library but this record has some miles on it for me
I didn’t care for SFT that much in the moment, but have grown to appreciate it over time. But DTMB and WTD are front to back classics. I just gave an iPod to my 11 year old nephew full of all my old records and can’t be more stoked to have him check these records out as he grows older. AFS was massive for me for years.
Actually trying not to cry at work rn. I've never hated living in the PNW before, but right now I feel it. What's with the gap after the SF show? Plenty of time for a show up here.
I snagged the vinyl last time they pressed it and got a huge dumb grin when it included the full Comprehensive Guide To Your Afterlife booklet in the sleeve. Always thought that was such a fun packaging thing for the CD in high school
