i think i like this more than anything on sweetener. and i really liked sweetener.

 

Yea sweetener grew on me a lot but this would easily beats most of it

 

Awesome song plus love that she went the Drake route and used actual names lol

 

This album has been a slow burn for me. I liked it when it first came out, but I didn't listen very much and I'm starting to get back to it more and more the last couple weeks.

I love sweetener but this new song is better than half the album. Can’t wait for the next record

 

re-posting this as we talk about the new album having no features, obviously I think this is a great idea. Still stand by this 10-track version being pretty damn solid.

I saw her perform that new song on Ellen and found it very... Not good. Maybe because she's not a strong performer idk but she is always like someone sucked the energy out of her before she goes on. Which like she's going thru a lot rn. But she has always been like that idk idk but i was like zzzzzzz

 

she's been historically bad at live TV performances. At least this one was fun to watch and she was having fun herself

 

The version you posted would make it my favorite album of the year.

Cut out the Pharrell stuff and you have an AWESOME album.

 

I didn't even realize that the version I posted cuts out all of Pharrell's stuff except the title track and the closing track, whoof!

 

Pharrell’s songs are so much better than the other ones smh

I'm really hopin this next featureless album is just full experimental, sad personal, no huge Pharrell/Max Martin sounding stuff. Thank U Next is like so in her own style in a way that Sweetener rarely felt, a whole album of that would be so refreshing.

 

What I reaally want is her version of Blonde but that might getting my hopes too high

 

Well I'm fully obsessed now I listen to this multiple times a day. goodnite n go might be my favorite honestly
