This single is such an earworm, it immediately made me start playing all the little riffs & hooks on guitar.

 

My girlfriend is a huge Ari fan. She pointed out what sounds like a sample of crickets chirping in the background of “Positions” and now I can’t not hear it.

 

Yikes, this may have leaked. Twitter stans are trying to block the leaks by tweeting key words

 

I saw someone post about that earlier but I think it's fake. As many people who are saying it leaked, there isn't a single instance of anyone actually having it or listening to it

 

@stanleakerz on Twitter has a couple snippets but no full songs. Also has track lengths. That's all I've seen though

 

Yeah, I think that some snippets is all that actually exists. Who knows, either way it's far from a widespread leak so she'll be fine for now

I saw something about it being an itunes leak, not sure though

the leak quality is MP4, 128 kbps VBR

so probably a review stream leaked

People on the PopJustice thread for this album are giving mixed reviews on this. Some say it's very good and others say it's just decent. Excited to listen to it though.

 

I'm into it but the string centric songs blend together and the full thing lacks the variery of the past albums. The neosoul and jazzy vibes explored in My Hair and Love Language could be the template for whatever she intends to do next.

 

why don't artist release vinyl right from the get go? Can't make sense of that.

 

It takes months to manufacture and this album was probably recently finished

 

We are also still in a pandemic so manufacturing is even slower.

 

yeah if she had vinyl preorders they would probably ship in like April
