That was a truly strange video. Not sold on the song, but I like the way she sounds on the more "spoken" part of the chorus.

 

You’re underestimating how much these artists mean to their fans. It’s not hard to see why stans would cry when their favorite drops a new track.

 

Honestly I'd probably cry if put in the right state of mind, and a group setting for a specific situation like this could do it

But it hyped me up too much and this was just ok. Did like it not being a ballad. Do like the general production vibe as a style for the next album. That hook just feels like a pre-chorus tho and the real chorus never kicks in.

 

I'm trying to figure out if this sounds like a specific song, Brandy maybe, or just vague Max Martin 90s throwback

It’s good but not Dangerous Woman quality on first listen. Definitely has potential to grow on me. I like how bizarre the video is.
