I think we're talking about different things here. Chris was talking about her improving as a live singer and I was saying that I still am not sold on her as a live singer. I am not specifically referring to yesterday's show, which was more than just a performance, and was heartbreaking and perfect at the same time
Her vocals are up there with Adele's to me and Ariana dances during her concerts. I'm not saying this is the reason her voice sounds like that but that pitch or whatever might be the best one for her to dance to so it is like habit to sing like that. I'm prob way fucking off but those are my thoughts.
She released a greatest hits album in Japan, nothing new, but still interesting to see the tracklist 1. "Break Free" (feat. Zedd) 2. "Problem" (feat. Iggy Azalea) 3. "Baby I" 4. "Into You" 5. "Bang Bang" (with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj) 6. "Side to Side" (feat. Nicki Minaj) 7. "One Last Time" 8. "The Way" (feat. Mac Miller) 9. "Be Alright" 10. "Love Me Harder" (with The Weeknd) 11. "Everyday" (with Future) 12. "Right There" (with Big Sean) 13. "Greedy" 14. "Piano" 15. "Dangerous Woman" 16. "Best Mistake" 17. "Faith" (with Stevie Wonder) 18. "Beauty and the Beast" (with John Legend)
I thought the same thing actually, I guess just so many singles have features whereas most album tracks don't?
I think the album version is better but its close and this one is very fun. The live version where she cries and belts out the ending is all time tho
My hype levels are very high. So she's got an album in the works and a song on the NERD album probably?
TMZ claims she just wrapped the album recording, half produced by Max Martin and half by Pharrell Ariana Grande Finishes New Very Personal Album, First Since Manchester Arena Bombing
Feels like Pharrell is everywhere lately, but that’s kinda always been the case. Curious to hear how Ariana sounds with him.
I wasn’t forgetting that, but it’s Calvin produced and very much part of his funk wave bounce sound. What Pharrell is doing now is a lot different, and he’s producing, not singing.
