Went ahead and reserved tickets for this piece of shit

as you can imagine I had my pick of seats

 

here's one possibly good sign

 

I refuse to believe the twisted mind of Matthew Vaughn made a good movie.

 

I'm hoping it's at least fun but I'm not expecting much.

couldn't remember what all he's done aside from the first 2 kingsman movies

I've actually only seen his X-Men movies and Kingsman. didn't even know he did the 3rd one (which was bad but had 1 sick ass sequence - the night time trench knife fight)

 

Ellie Conway is my favorite novelist

 

i'll still ride for the first kingsman, x-men FC, layer cake and stardust. kick-ass did not age well, period. vaughn has his faults, but it's weird that some people talk about him like he's one of the worst filmmakers out there

 

Like my friend Max once told me actually goofy is cool

 

potential to be even worse for damien’s career than babylon. those two are no match

 

Excited for this to come out! (So the trailer stops playing in front of every single movie in theaters)

 

I think I’ve seen this trailer in theaters nine times.

I’m on the edge.

 

He’s not the worst. I just think he’s consistently bad. “First Class” is okay and by “X-Men” directors standards, at least he’s not a pedo or a creep.

 

As annoying as this trailer is I’d watch it 3 times in a row to not get the Bob Marley trailer.

 

both will get replaced by the amy winehouse trailer which looks worse than either

Won passes to see it last night, but came down with a cold. I fear I’ll never know who the real Agent Argylle is or if they ever warm up to that cat!

 

it’s not the trainwreck the RT score indicates, but it should be a lot better than it is. first half hour or so worked for me, but eventually it gets caught up in one twist after the other that it somewhat lost me. there’s fun to be had in part with how absurd it gets, but there’s a few too many instances where things don’t cohere. it’s way better than the trailer made it look at least. probably the worst vaughn film too

 

oh, and the reveal of who agent argylle truly is got me to laugh a bit (derogatory)
