I know this is months late but I read this as them turning this into a Dirty Dancing sequel and was baffled

 

I'm a sucker for a coming-of-age story and this one hit all the marks. Kelly Fremon Craig just gets how to make these. Very heartfelt and very funny.

This had some moments but overall was pretty mid. Also, Benny Sadfie should stay behind the camera.

This was very good. Definitely the most natural, talented young cast in a little while. Abby Fortson is so good.

It’s no Edge of Seventeen, but I really liked this. All of the children were great.
