Getting th VMP pressing of the debut, which was a touchstone record for me when it came out in college.
How does it work with getting this reissue.....do I need to get a membership with VMP or can I just order this one record?
I hate that they’re doing Lolla, I haven’t seen them at their own show in so long and now I might have to go to Lolla for a day.
From looking at the AM subreddit it seems like we're looking at an end of May album release. What's interesting is that some apparent insider has said that there won't be a pre-release single -- just an album announcement. So so so curious to hear what the new sound will be. Their 5 albums have all been stellar IMO and each with its own interesting progression.
You can sign up for a 1 month subscription. It’s the most expensive route at $29/mo but if you love the record I think it’s worth it. And you’ll get a trial run of the subscription. I’m in love with the service. I’ve added the Hip Hop/Rap and Classic subs as well for $23/mo each. They also have monthly exclusives in their store that opens around the middle of each month, usually about 7-10 exclusive pressings plus a list of curated releases from elsewhere. Just remember to cancel prior to the next month billing cycle if you don’t want to continue the service, I find it all to be very user friendly. If you choose a longer membership and do not like a RotM you can swap it out with a record from their Swap list, usually consisting of old exclusives.
Hell yes. I heard rumors there won’t be any singles at all. I hope that’s not true since the album won’t be out until after my show
