I can't tell if floor tickets aren't available during this presale or if they really sold out in like 4 minutes
I opted for the bowl at FH (Section 202) to save a little $ and not worry about being pushed around in the pit
That was seriously the least stressful experience I've had all year with tickets. Got 2 GA floor tickets immediately!
Really interested to hear what their new stuff would sound like, especially considering the state of "rock" rn
WPSTWIN is pretty easily my favorite of theirs. tight songwriting, fitting production, just a great set of songs and the four songs from the WTFAAM are also great Favorite Worst Nightmare Humbug AM SIAS
I’m always interested about rankings. I feel like a lot of it is influenced by age or maybe more specifically which records they were putting out when you first heard them. Their first 2 records were cornerstones for me when they each were released, the latter 3 less so. I have found I enjoy all 5 of their records though, first 2 I just think are far and away their best.
Funny enough. Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What’s I’m Not is going to be Vinyl Me, Please’s ROTM for April.
When are we finally gonna rise up and burn ticketmaster to the ground? Tickets should not go up 30 fucking bucks from the initial price they show you
Extremely jealous. I'm waffling on whether to get floor seats for Pittsburgh and it goes from 60something to 90something lol. I want to scream.
My show was through AXS, I think the service fee was $14. Still bullshit, but it's better than the service fee on my Childish Gambino tickets last week, I think that was like $35.
Miraculously got mine too! Flying across the country for this... it's sort of a given when I've waited 4-5 years for my favorite band to come back.
Got floor seats for Boston, so pumped. Also, I think they might have the hardest-to-rank discography of modern bands. It's really tight.
Random thought, but Alex Turner's six-song "Submarine" EP is so beautiful. It's been my go-to "right before bed" listen for a while now. The songwriting is just so layered and poetic. Like conceptually every song is brilliant but it also has so many little lines and phrases that are straight-up genius. "Stretching out the neck on your evening, trying to even out some deficit." Like who else writes like that? That guy doesn't get enough credit as one of today's best songwriters.
