Alex's voice would be perfect for 'Juicebox' (Or Heart in a Cage, I'm not picky)

 

I would love if Arctic Monkeys just covered a different Strokes song at each show.

 

Never thought I’d hear Alex Turner start rambling Bruce Springsteen lyrics, but I’m glad I was in attendance for it.

 

How fucked up was Alex? I saw some videos from this and he appears to be on another planet. Guy seems to be dabbling a bit before shows, I'd say

 

did they do a Springsteen cover or did he straight up just ramble the lyrics lol

 

I mean I definitely expected him to be a bit out there, just given how he usually is on stage, but even the other members in the band were kinda shooting each other looks. Seemed to be all in good fun, though.

He just started singing "everybody's got a hungry heart" a few times at the end of Batphone, maybe? Can't remember which song he did it at the end of.

god I loved this band

 

I was there too!
I thought they were in excellent form. Had some sound difficulties during Do I Wanna Know that they cleaned up really quick which was nice.
I'm pretty over the AM live tunes as I've heard them now 3x, but the surprises in the setlist were very good - especially Don't Sit Down (which I typically don't care that much for). My buddy also lost it when Ritz started.

 

the friend I was with also lost it during Ritz haha

 

They've got a Spotify sessions up. It has 4 out of 5 and a Stephen Fretwell cover.

 

Just caught that today randomly. Reminded me that this album came out this year...and it still kicks ass.

 

so good still. almost certainly in my top 3 this year

Just watched that video. These guys are on another level with this release. Love everything they're doing with it.

 

Anyone else want the instrumental version of this album after that?

 

I've been going through their discography for the first time in the last few weeks and I found myself really loving the first two albums but then not being into the full albums for any of the other ones (still loving several songs though)

Did not fucking expect to like the new one so much after everything I've read about it. This is crazy good. Wish I did this before the tour and not after

I still really like this. One of the better releases this year, imo.
